Ubisoft Montréal is Ubisoft's largest in-house development studio, as well as the largest development studio worldwide with more than 4,000 employees. Founded in Montréal, Québec, the studio started with only 50 employees. 25 of these came from Ubisoft's headquarters in France, while the rest were new recruits.
